Paruj Acharya

Paruj Acharya has extensive experience in policy and analytics, having served as Policy Director for Technology, Health Data & Consumer Experience at UnitedHealth Group from September 2016 to May 2022, where responsibilities included policy and advocacy within Community & State (Medicaid). Prior roles at UnitedHealth Group included Director of Development and Analytics and Senior Data Analyst in Minnetonka, Minnesota, focused on life sciences and enterprise analytics. Paruj previously worked as an Encounter Data Quality Assurance Analyst at the Minnesota Department of Human Services from June 2013 to July 2015, contributing to the Health Care Research and Quality Division. Paruj holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a focus on Healthcare Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Minnesota State Moorhead.
