Peter Dumont

Peter Dumont is an experienced executive in data governance and privacy, currently serving as the Chief Data Governance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer at UnitedHealth Group and Optum Labs, respectively, since April 2021. Prior to this role, Peter held key positions at Optum from June 2005 to March 2021, including Vice President of Privacy and Information Security Officer. Peter's career also includes experience as a Manager at KPMG Advisory from June 2003 to June 2005 and service as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 1999. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Capella University.
