Reuben Sam

Reuben Sam is an experienced professional with a background in political science and social justice. Reuben served as a Criminal Justice Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where research focused on racial biases within the justice system. As a Legal Coordinator for the Los Angeles Tenants Union, Reuben provided legal guidance to tenants and researched housing laws. Reuben also worked as a Social Justice Desk Editor for The Vanguard at Berkeley, managing a team of writers and reporting on social justice issues. Currently, Reuben is a Rotational Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, involved in operations, sales technology, and compliance. Reuben gained campaign experience as a Campus Core Leader for Bernie Sanders and a Fellow for Loraine Lundquist. Reuben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Los Angeles Pierce College.
