Rob Ostrander is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at OptumUnitedHealth Group since November 2022, where responsibilities include leading high-priority CEO communications and corporate messaging. Prior to this role, Rob served as Senior Director of Executive Communications at UnitedHealth Group from January 2009 to September 2022, overseeing executive presentations and messaging for corporate leaders. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Corporate Communications at UnitedHealth Group and as Senior Writer for UnitedHealthcare, focusing on communications for top executives. Rob also held the position of CEO Speechwriter for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and provided strategic communications as an advisor to U.S. Senators and Members of Congress from January 1994 to January 2007. Rob holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in History/Psychology from the University at Albany.
