Steve Griffiths

Steve Griffiths, PhD, MS, is an innovative healthcare executive with a proven track record in driving business impact through data and analytics. Currently serving as the SVP and Chief Data & Analytics Officer at UHG Innovation | Optum Labs, they focus on the development of strategic data initiatives and have a history of leadership in payer and value-based care provider analytics. Previously, Steve held roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN and Optum, where they developed key analytic capabilities and led high-performing teams. Educationally, Steve holds a PhD in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Biostatistics from the University of Washington.
