Steve Groath

Steve Groath is a seasoned IT professional with over three decades of experience in technology and operations. Currently serving as Director in the Optum CIO Office since September 2002, Steve has overseen development and operations teams, implementing standardized tools and processes to enhance delivery practices. Prior to this role, Steve was an Associate Partner at Accenture from 1988 to 2002, where Steve led the global Service Assurance Market Offering and contributed to setting the technological direction for Accenture's Network Service Line practice. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
