Steve Heyman

Steve Heyman is an innovative, results-driven public affairs strategist with extensive experience at the intersection of business, public policy, and communications. They served as State Director for Clinton/Gore '96 and as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Labor, advising on Congressional and governmental engagement. Currently, Heyman holds the position of Senior Vice President of External Affairs at UnitedHealth Group, where they lead advocacy efforts and manage high-profile strategic initiatives. They also have experience as Vice President of Government Affairs at Sallie Mae and have pursued a J.D. at The George Washington University Law School while studying Political Science at the University of Michigan.
