Steve Paulson

Steve Paulson is currently the Associate Director of Finance at UnitedHealth Group, where they manage encounter data submissions for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Lines of Business. Previously, as Risk Adjustment Team Leader at Excellus BCBS, Steve enhanced revenue through data manipulation and developed automated processes for submissions, achieving a remarkable 99% acceptance rate for encounter data. Steve also held the role of Client Success Manager at Vivante Health and worked as a Credit Risk Specialist III at Paychex. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Training and Development from the State University of New York College at Oswego, Steve possesses strong business acumen and technical skills that support their ongoing work in risk adjustment. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with their children and pursuing hobbies such as woodworking and beekeeping.
