Stuart Hughes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in credit risk modeling, analytics, and data science across various organizations. Currently serving as Director of Credit Risk Modelling, Director of Data Science, and Director of Analytics at UnitedHealth Group since February 2018, Stuart has previously held significant roles at Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics as Carrier Advanced Analytics Manager, leading a team to provide advanced analytics solutions to insurance carriers. Prior to that, Stuart was a Credit Risk Modelling Manager at Certus and Bank of Scotland, where responsibilities included managing non-retail model development and interacting with senior management and regulators. Stuart's career also includes experience as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Bank of Ireland and roles in software engineering across multiple technology companies. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Data Analytics and Bachelor's and Associate's Degrees in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin and Trinity College Dublin.
