Wendy Smith

Wendy Smith is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as the Executive Director for the Dual Special Needs Plan at UnitedHealthcare Community & State in Texas. With a strong background in Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid operations, they have held various leadership roles, including CEO at the Neurology Institute of San Antonio and Vice President at Bravo Health, where they significantly grew membership. Wendy has also been Vice President of Business Development at UnitedHealthcare since 2011, managing marketing, sales, and community outreach for the Medicaid contract. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southwestern University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University-San Marcos.
