Amanda Abbott

Amanda Abbott is an experienced professional in editing, film production, and technical direction. Since March 2014, Amanda has worked as a proofreader at Uhlig, where meticulous skills in editing have led to increasingly complex assignments. Amanda also collaborates with local filmmakers on short films and serves as an Assistant Technical Director at the Church of the Resurrection, managing live content during events. As a verbatim court recorder for Strategic Communications, Inc., Amanda supports legal proceedings for disability claims. Previous roles include Editor-in-Chief of the Blue Monday Review, where Amanda established the magazine and enhanced sales through innovative multimedia marketing, and freelance writer for MOVE GUIDES. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Truman State University, where Amanda interned with the Chariton Review.
