Don Wright, MPH, BSN, RN, CIC, AL-CIP, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Infection Prevention & Epidemiology at UHS, where they manage a multidisciplinary infection prevention program across 28 acute care facilities. With a background as a Corporate Program Manager and Infection Preventionist, Don has developed expertise in healthcare-associated infection reduction and patient safety enhancement. They previously designed and implemented infection prevention programs in both acute care and behavioral health settings. Don is pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health at Walden University, building on a solid foundation that includes a Master’s degree in Public Health and multiple nursing degrees from the University of South Carolina.
