Doug Matney

Doug Matney is an experienced healthcare executive with a strong background in operational management and leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Emergency and Urgent Care at Universal Health since February 2007, Doug is responsible for corporate-wide operations for Freestanding Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centers. Previously held roles include Regional Vice President and Vice President in the Acute Division at Universal Health Service, overseeing operations across several hospitals in South Texas. Doug has also served as Chief Executive Officer at Del Sol Medical Center, achieving budgeted EBITDA goals, and as Senior Vice President of Operations at Columbia Healthcare Systems, where significant developments in pediatric care were accomplished. Doug's educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Health Services and an MBA from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Health Systems Analysis from Georgia Institute of Technology.
