Jigar Patel

Jigar Patel, MD, currently serves as a psychiatrist at Ascension and as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at UHS since July 2022. Previously, Jigar Patel held positions including psychiatrist at HNI Healthcare and child and adolescent psychiatry fellow at Southwest Psychiatric Physicians. Jigar Patel completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and residency at UT Health San Antonio and a general adult psychiatry residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Jigar Patel's early experience includes externships and research assistant roles in psychiatry and neurology across various institutions. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Gujarat University and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth.
