Michele Workman

Michele Workman is a seasoned professional in health care management with extensive experience in risk management and quality improvement. Currently serving as a Regional Risk Manager at UHS since September 2016, Michele is responsible for incident reporting and investigation, liability claims oversight, and ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Quality Management at Austin State Hospital from June 2012 to September 2016, where Michele managed performance improvement, healthcare information management, and infection control programs in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Michele holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
