Michael Poveda

Michael Poveda is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in advisory and assurance services. Currently serving as a Partner at UHY LLP, Michael leads the Northeast Accounting Advisory Services practice and oversees the National ESG Solutions practice, advising clients on complex financial reporting, risk management, and performance improvement. Prior to UHY, Michael was the Managing Partner for the Greater Albany Market at Grant Thornton LLP, where distinguished audit and accounting advisory services were delivered to various businesses. Michael's career also includes a significant tenure at Deloitte, where oversight of global clients in the financial services sector was provided, with a strong emphasis on SEC regulations, US GAAP, and IFRS reporting standards. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University at Albany.
