Todd Sutherland

Todd Sutherland has extensive experience in tax consulting, particularly in research and development tax credits. Currently serving as the Practice Leader for the National Tax Research Tax Credit Practice at UHY LLP since August 2020, Todd Sutherland also holds the position of President at Burbank & Sutherland, LP, a role maintained since November 2006. Previously, Todd Sutherland co-founded and partnered at DST Advisory Group Inc., an R&D tax credit boutique firm, from February 2017 to July 2020, and served as CEO of ABGi USA, an international R&D tax incentives consulting firm, from November 2011 to February 2017. Todd Sutherland's early career included senior management roles at KPMG, Arthur Andersen & Co., and PwC, focusing on tax and research tax credit incentives. Educationally, Todd Sutherland holds a Master of Laws in Tax Law from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. in BBA Accounting from Millsaps College.
