Fred Smith

Fred Smith is the President and CEO of UI Solutions Group, a company founded in 1994 that specializes in planning and regulatory software for the utility industry. Prior to this, Fred served as a partner at Richard Metzler & Associates, which transitioned to Navigant Consulting and later Guidehouse, after initially joining as a staff consultant in 1987. Fred began a career at CF Industries in 1978 as an internal auditor, eventually becoming the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and started in the field as a staff auditor at KPMG in 1977. Fred holds a Master's degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and Computer Science from Saint Louis University.
