Andra Bucur

Andra Bucur is a privacy expert and Data Protection Officer with a passion for AI ethics and governance. They have served in various roles, including as an Independent National Researcher at Human European Consultancy and a Legal Advisor for asylum seekers at the Romanian National Council for Refugees. Currently, Andra holds the position of Data Protection Officer at UiPath, where they monitor compliance with data protection and AI laws and provide training on privacy governance. Andra also has a background in project management and legal advisory roles, notably at The Foundation For An Open Society and the Romanian Parliament. They are pursuing advanced studies in the Ethics of AI at the University of Helsinki and have obtained degrees in law from Babeș-Bolyai University and international human rights law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
