Global VP, Sales Strategy, Best Practices & Deal Desk at UiPath

Carmel Smith has been working in the software sales industry for over 20 years. Carmel started their career at Quest Software in February 2015, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 64 field sales executives and 5 field directors in 19 states. Carmel was also responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, as well as overseeing all HR-related operations.

In February 2017, Carmel Smith took on a new challenge when they became Global VP of Sales Strategy, Best Practices & Deal Desk at UiPath. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for UiPath's products, as well as overseeing all aspects of the business. Carmel is also responsible for approving all strategic software sales negotiations, and has a proven track record of successfully predicting outcomes and executing standards for pipeline growth.

They work with Tansu Yegen - VP, Growth Markets, Horace Chow - VP & Managing Director, North Asia, and James Bradley - UK&I GTM Director, Test Automation. Their manager is Chris Weber, Chief Business Officer.
