Henry Shi

Henry Shi serves as Managing Partner at an AI/SaaS focused fund since September 2015, overseeing investments in over 40 portfolios backed by major investors like Sequoia Capital and Google Ventures. In addition, Henry is a Venture Partner at BOLD Capital Partners, which targets early-stage companies utilizing exponential technologies. As an investor, Henry has played a key role in companies such as Honey, which was acquired by PayPal for $4 billion, and Shape Security, known for its defense against cyber-attacks. Henry also invests in leading firms like UiPath, Palantir Technologies, and Impossible Foods. Henry holds a PhD in AI from the University of Southern California and has research experience in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
