Established in 2008 we are a family run business with our head office based in Glossop. We have over 30 years experience in the industry and work across a range of projects and sectors throughout the UK. 

We are currently working with large contractors across the UK to develop renewable energy sites, in which we complete large parts of the civil engineering works. 
 
Some of the projects we’re involved in are highly technical, others present logistical challenges. Whatever the project and whatever the problem, our experience and expertise enables us to find practical, cost-effective ways to overcome any issues along the way to meeting our clients’ requirements.

Stephen Tootell, Managing Director

From a background in horticulture, Stephen developed an interest in landscaping. At the age of just 19, he set up his first business. In 2010 gained a qualification in Landscape Management and Maintenance.
Over time he developed relationships with construction companies and the focus of the business shifted to larger scale residential and commercial landscaping and groundwork projects. Momentum grew and in 2008 UK Landcare Ltd was established. 
Stephen is dedicated to developing an organic and sustainable business for the future generations.

Heath Rowland, Director

Heath’s background is in civil engineering, spending more than 30 years in engineering management for one of the UK’s Civil Engineering Companies.
He joined the business in 2012 to help develop the civil engineering side of the business. 
He thrives on working with challenging projects and works to overcome technical situations that we come across.
Heath’s commitment to Health & Safety has taken UK Landcare beyond the required expectations within the industry.
