Matthew Wade has extensive experience in physical activity-based research and evaluation across various populations. Matthew has worked in various roles at ukactive, including Head of Research and Development, Head of Research, Senior Researcher, Research Officer, and Research Assistant. In these roles, they have been responsible for designing and delivering research and evaluation projects, managing data collection and analysis, and providing research and evaluation expertise. Matthew has also worked as a Learning Centre Information Assistant at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where they provided support to students and academic staff.
Matthew Wade completed their education in a chronological order, starting from 2008 and ending in 2019. Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Gloucestershire between 2008 and 2011. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science, focusing on Biomechanics, at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Lastly, between 2016 and 2019, Matthew Wade attended St Mary's University, Twickenham, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Health Science.
