Jamie Yang

Jamie Yang has a diverse work experience starting as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Berkeley. They then worked at IBM in various roles related to engineering and research. Jamie also worked at Keio University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology before becoming the CEO and President of EGG-energy Tanzania Limited. Later, Jamie worked at Google, Facebook, and New Sun Road, P.B.C., holding roles in business development, strategy, and program management. Currently, Jamie serves as the COO & power systems engineer at Ukama.

Jamie Yang completed a Bachelor's Degree in Dual Degree in Materials Science and Electrical Engineering Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 1998 to 2002. Following this, Jamie pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering with a focus on Quantum Information at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2008.
