Sarah Thirkell

Sarah Thirkell has extensive experience in forensic consulting and education, currently serving as a Business Partner at Forensic Training Partnership and an Educational Accreditation Scheme Assessor for The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Since July 2017, Sarah has worked with both Reed Forensics as a Forensic Consultant and Forensic Access Limited as a Forensic Crime Scene Consultant. Additionally, Sarah has held the role of Technical Assessor at UKAS since May 2019 and previously was the Training Manager at Alecto Forensics, where significant contributions were made to the development and delivery of crime scene training for police forces. Early career roles include Crime Scene Coordinator at Thames Valley Police and Scenes of Crime Officer at West Mercia Police. Currently pursuing an MRes in Forensic Entomology at Cranfield University, Sarah holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Reading and has completed numerous professional development courses in the forensic field.
