Jairo Diaz

Jairo Diaz is an experienced professional in the field of DevSecOps and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Manager of DevSecOps Engineering at UKG since May 2021, where leadership focuses on secure software development by integrating security practices into the Software Delivery Life Cycle. Previously, Jairo held various roles at Telefonica from July 2012 to May 2023, including DevSecOps Engineer and Global Security Operations Center Manager, overseeing security operations and compliance for complex IT infrastructures. Jairo also has a background as a Resource Manager in Managed Services, where responsibilities included updating hardening guides and conducting audits for IT security best practices, and as a NOC-SOC Operator, engaged in network security monitoring and analysis. Earlier experience includes working as a Core Network Engineer at SPEEDNET COMMUNICATIONS LTD, contributing to the launch of a new 3G Network and configuring essential network components. Jairo holds an Engineering degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from ISPJAE, completed in 2009.
