Benjamin Langrill

Benjamin Langrill has extensive experience in the field of cyber security and systems integration. Benjamin most recently worked as a Principal Cyber Engineer at Ultimate Knowledge Institute starting in 2023. Prior to that, Benjamin served as the Director of Solutions Engineering at RangeForce from 2020 to 2023. In this role, they led a team responsible for meeting customer training and simulation needs and coordinating external developers and partners. Benjamin also worked at The Dow Chemical Company as an Information Security Specialist from 2015 to 2020, where they were an expert cyber security SME and built respect across the organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Systems Integrator and Exploitation and Vulnerability Analyst at their own company from 2009 to 2015. Benjamin's career began at Wayne State University where they worked as an IT System Administrator from 2007 to 2009. In this role, they provisioned and secured desktops and servers for a research group and implemented data backup and replication measures to prevent data loss.

Benjamin Langrill completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University between 2004 and 2008. Benjamin then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at the same university from 2008 to 2009. In addition, Benjamin has obtained several certifications including Offensive Security Certified Expert, Offensive Security Certified Professional, Certified Information System Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Network+, and Security+. These certifications were obtained between 2014 and 2019 from institutions such as Offensive Security, (ISC)², Red Hat, and CompTIA.
