Marcela Schmitt has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Marcela started their career in 2012 with a Small Business Program at Junior Achievment (JA Worldwide). Marcela then interned at Hotel Continental, Hotel Saint Andrews, and GJP Hotels & Resorts in 2014. In 2016, Marcela worked as a Concierge at Shopping Crystal. Marcela then served as a Hostess at Coco Bambu Restaurant in early 2017 and as a Receptionist at NH Hotel Group from May to July 2017. Following that, Marcela worked as a Booking Agent and later as a Senior Receptionist at Rede Swan Hoteis from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, they joined Renaissance Barcelona Hotel as a Navigator Concierge Trainee but their collaboration was interrupted due to COVID-19. Their most recent role is with Ukio, where they started as a Demand Manager Assistant from March to September 2021. Marcela was then promoted to Revenue Coordinator from October 2021 to October 2022. Currently, Marcela works as a Content & Partnership Coordinator at Ukio, starting in October 2022.
Marcela Schmitt has a diverse education history. In 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality from Castelli Escola Superior de Hotelaria. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Marketing, Commercialization, and Hotel Revenue Management from EAE Business School in 2020. In the same year, they also completed a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from AIP Barcelona.
