Ukraine Unlimited is an organization that started with a mission to support Ukrainian individuals, especially women, by helping them find buyers for their handmade products and other goods to supplement their family incomes. This initiative was launched in April 2017, aimed at alleviating financial challenges in Ukraine's struggling economy.
When the war in Ukraine began in February 2022, Ukraine Unlimited adapted its mission to focus on collecting donations to aid individuals and families in moving to safer locations during the bombings and other dangerous situations in their neighborhoods and cities. This phase, while ongoing, is now gradually shifting its focus.
The organization's current priority is to continue assisting families and refugees who have been displaced due to the ongoing war. They aim to provide support to these individuals as they navigate their temporary and dynamic living conditions. This support includes addressing the immediate needs of various groups, such as women, children, the elderly, hospitals, frontline medics, and military personnel. Donations from individuals are generously used to fulfill these needs, which may include food, medicines, medical supplies, and other essential items.
Ukraine Unlimited leverages its extensive network of Ukrainian volunteers to gather real-time updates and information about the urgent requirements of those affected by the crisis. The organization's ultimate goal is to help the Ukrainian people not only survive the war but also to eventually return to rebuild their lives, homes, and cities. By doing so, they hope to preserve Ukraine's rich cultural heritage and national identity in the face of these challenging circumstances.
