The Ukraine War Archive (UWA) is the largest independent multi-media archive of Russia’s war in Ukraine.  

For the past three years, we’ve worked to bring together scattered sources  of public and restricted data into one pioneering platform built to serve justice, strengthen accountability, inform advocacy, and safeguard historical memory.

We believe that justice can take many forms.
It lives in courts and tribunals, but also in the work of artists, writers, journalists, and citizens who document, investigate, and make sense of what has happened.

That is why UWA makes its materials accessible, searchable, and secure—so that as many people as possible can memorialize, investigate, and process this war, contributing to the collective pursuit of justice for Ukraine. We are working now to ensure future generations do not forget—and can use memory to build fair and just societies.
