Rafael W.

Rafael W. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rafael is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Uktena, a role they assumed in November 2020. Prior to this, Rafael worked as a Researcher at Universidad de Cantabria from September 2019 to October 2022, where they contributed to a research project on late Glacial and Holocene hunter-gatherers. Rafael also served as a Research Staff at Universidad de Cantabria from December 2018 to April 2019, focusing on the functional analysis of prehistoric tools. In addition, Rafael worked as a Research Staff at the Graphic Activity Group of the IIIPC at Universidad de Cantabria from April 2018 to July 2018, studying Palaeolithic parietal assemblages. Before their research roles, Rafael was the Founder & CEO of Gamerchants Virtual Entertainment Ltd. from 2008 to 2016, where they developed and implemented an e-commerce project for virtual products related to MMORPG games. Rafael also gained experience as an Ecommerce Assistant at RandyRun GmbH in 2007 and as a Scholarship Holder at Fundación Carolina from 2006 to 2007. Furthermore, Rafael worked as a History Teacher for the Sao Paulo State Government from 2003 to 2005 and as a Telecommunications Technician at Telefonica from 2000 to 2002.

Rafael W. has an extensive education history that spans multiple fields of study. Rafael first attended Universidade Católica de Santos from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in History Teacher Education at the same institution.

In 2006 to 2007, Rafael pursued a Master's degree in History of the Hispanic World at the Spanish National Research Council - CSIC. Rafael then continued their education at Universidad de Cantabria, where they obtained a Master's degree in Prehistory and Archaeology from 2016 to 2017.

Currently, Rafael W. is pursuing a PhD at Universidad de Cantabria in the field of Prehistoric Archaeology, which began in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rafael W. also holds two additional certifications. In December 2020, they obtained the "Innovación PYMEs" certification from Santander International Entrepreneurship Center | CISE. Furthermore, in April 2020, they obtained the "Método BusinessADN" certification from BusinessADN.
