Rupert Baines is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Chair of the Semiconductor Expert Working Group for UKTIN, Rupert has previously held leadership roles as CEO of QPT, focusing on power electronics for electric motors, and CEO of UltraSoC Technologies, which was acquired by Siemens. Additional roles include CMO at Mentor Graphics and Real Wireless, and V P Strategic Marketing at Mindspeed Technologies. Rupert co-founded the Small Cell Forum and served on its Board of Directors. Rupert holds an MBA from IESE Business School and degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Hull.
