John Perkins

John Perkins is an experienced React Developer currently employed at UKTV since January 2022, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining the UKTV Play CTV app and managing release processes and product discussions. Prior to UKTV, John served as a Full Stack Engineer and Data Engineer at DXC Technology from October 2019 to January 2022, contributing to the development of a Smart Factories web app and a social engagement application using React Native. John also has a background in project management, having overseen multiple projects while at DXC Technology, and gained exposure to management practices during a brief work experience with the NHS. Previous internships at PwC and GKN Aerospace provided additional exposure to diverse industries, with a focus on data management and compliance. John holds a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from both the University of Southampton and Penn State University.
