Jonathan Newman

Jonathan Newman serves as the General Manager, Commercial, at UKTV and BBC Studios UK/Ireland, a position held since January 2020, following roles as Director of Distribution and Sales. With over 17 years of experience at UKTV, Jonathan Newman has been instrumental in program sales and distribution, managing a diverse portfolio of commissioned content and negotiating significant agreements. Prior experience includes sales and business development roles at BBC Worldwide, focusing on TV sales for the UK/Ireland market, along with financial management positions at BBC and Deloitte & Touche. Jonathan Newman holds a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Cambridge.
