Ukwazi is one of the largest specialist mining service providers in Africa, focused on leveraging technical and industry insight and expertise to drive operational excellence and commercial success. Ukwazi is a Zulu word that means “to know”, which aptly describes the nature of our business and our focus on delivering independent advisory, technical systems integration and operational contract mining services.

Ukwazi follows sound and proven technical and project management principles, based on relevant experience, a solid track record and industry best practice. This mining engineering approach, combined with in-depth industry expertise, allows for operational excellence, cost optimisation and continuous improvement.

The company comprises specialist teams, each focusing on a specific combination of commodity, and style of mineralisation and mining methods in order to deliver value added services. Due to our niche approach, we can deliver high quality projects within set parameters and timeframes, at a competitive cost.

We service the industry's demand for:
•	Independent technical mining advisory services for studies and public
reports as well as onsite services, including capacity building and
        knowledge transfer
•	Outsourced mining contracting solutions that optimise operations,
reduce costs, enhance safety and add value
•	Holistic, integrated mining systems that enhance efficiencies and data
driven decision mining, whilst significantly decreasing costs and
        enabling operational agility

We are committed to transparent and effective transformation within the industry, in partnership with clients and technical partners.
