Michel Saliby

Michel Saliby has extensive experience in finance and academia, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at BLC Bank since January 2012, where roles have included Senior Trader and Trader. In addition to banking, Michel is actively engaged in education as a Professor of Finance at ESSCA Online Campus and Université La Sagesse, teaching financial derivatives and risk management, as well as finance and financial markets. Michel also holds the position of Senior Market Analyst at FxPro, providing insights through workshops and webinars focused on various asset classes. Previous academic roles include University Lecturer at Beirut Arab University and AUL University, and experience as a Trader in Capital Markets at Lebanese Canadian Bank and with Investment Services at Standard Chartered Bank. Michel's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both in Finance and Management from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik.
