Cheryl Coney

Cheryl Coney is the Executive Director at United Teachers Los Angeles, where they focus on empowering organizations to drive social justice through effective organizational development. Cheryl has previously served as a Labor Educator at the Washington State Labor Education & Research Center, and as an Organizational Specialist for the National Education Association. They also held roles as a Principal at Cheryl Coney Consulting and an Organizational Development Specialist at the California Teachers Association. In addition, Cheryl was a Trustee for the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association and has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at the San Diego Community College District. Cheryl holds a BA in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, alongside a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Washington.
