Amanda Brooks

Amanda Brooks has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amanda started their career as a Store Manager at Dollar Tree Stores in 2009 and gained valuable managerial skills until 2014. Amanda then joined Amazon as a Process Assistant and worked until 2018. Subsequently, Amanda worked at Starbucks as a Barista from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they transitioned to San Diego Gas & Electric as an Associate Engineer, specializing in Substation Engineering & Design. Throughout their employment at SDG&E, Amanda held various roles, including Associate Engineer, Associate Engineer - Substation Engineering & Design, Associate Engineer - Distributed Energy Resources, and Engineer II - Kearny Operations & Engineering. Amanda'scurrent position is as a Substation Electrical Design Engineer at Ulteig, starting in 2023.

Amanda Brooks completed their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in Electric Power and Energy Systems at Arizona State University from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science degree from Midlands Technical College in 2018. Amanda also holds a certification as an Engineer In Training from NCEES, which they obtained in March 2022.
