Chad Crabtree

Chad Crabtree has over a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry. Chad began their career as a Project Engineer at Jehn Engineering in 2006 before transitioning to a role as a Civil/River Engineer at McLaughlin Water Engineers in 2009. In 2009, they also joined Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. where they held various positions, including Civil/Structural Design Engineer, Manager/Director of Transmission Engineering, Director of Civil Engineering, and Director of Estimating & Proposals. Chad'sresponsibilities included overseeing the construction bid process, providing strategic advice and coaching to bid teams, estimating and preparing bids for wind, solar, and storage construction projects, and managing a diverse team of engineers and designers supporting multiple renewable energy projects. In 2019, Chad joined Ulteig as the Market Director, where they continue to work in the renewables sector.

Chad Crabtree obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Chad attended the institution from 2003 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Technology Management, specializing in Engineering Economics and Management from the same school. Chad completed their Master's program from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Chad has obtained certifications such as LEED AP from the United States Green Building Council and Professional Engineer from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
