Christopher Knettel has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christopher started their career in 2000 as a Firefighter Paramedic for the Cloquet Fire Department, where they worked until 2002. In 2002, they joined the City of Burnsville as a Paramedic/Firefighter and remained in that role until 2013.
In 2008, Christopher transitioned to the healthcare industry and worked as a Flight Paramedic for Lifelink III until 2011. Christopher then joined Ulteig in 2018 as a Civil CAD Technician, contributing to the company's civil engineering projects until 2021.
Afterwards, they joined TKDA in 2021 as an Engineering Technician II, providing technical support until 2022. Subsequently, they were promoted to the role of Engineering Specialist and continued to work for TKDA until May 2023.
Christopher is set to start their next role as a Civil Engineering Technician at Ulteig in April 2023. Throughout their career, they have gained a diverse range of skills and knowledge in civil engineering, CAD, firefighting, and emergency medical services.
Christopher Knettel began their education in 1996 at Northwest Technical College, where they pursued a degree in Paramedic. Christopher completed their studies in 1997. In 2015, Knettel attended Augsburg University, focusing on Biology/Biological Sciences, though they did not complete a degree program. From 2017 to 2019, they enrolled at Dakota County Technical College, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Currently, Knettel is studying at the University of North Dakota, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
