Darrel Wallace

Darrel Wallace has over 25 years of work experience in project management and construction. Darrel began their career in 1994 as a Project Superintendent at Fairfield Residential, where they were responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple apartment communities.

In 2000, Darrel joined Turner Construction as a Project Engineer, working on high-profile projects such as the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston and the Denver Broncos stadium. Their responsibilities included reviewing plans and shop drawings, procurement, change order management, and quality control.

Darrel then worked at Textron Construction as a Project Manager, where they focused on estimating, purchasing, contract management, and client development.

In 2005, Darrel became a Senior Project Engineer at Shaw Construction, overseeing the construction of a resort hotel in Vail. Darrel supervised the engineering staff and handled tasks related to plan review, material procurement, and quality assurance.

From 2006 to 2007, Darrel was employed as a Project Manager at W.E. O'Neil Construction, managing the construction of a multi-million dollar retail center in Colorado. Darrel was responsible for preconstruction, contract management, and maintaining client relationships.

Darrel then served as a Project Manager at the Texas Facilities Commission from 2007 to 2010, acting as the Owner’s Designated Representative on various projects. Their duties included programming, preconstruction, contract management, and supervision of design teams and contractors.

Starting from 2010, Darrel worked as a Project Manager and Consultant at DWC MANAGEMENT, providing services to owners, developers, and design professionals. Their primary services included preconstruction, construction contract management, cost control, and schedule management.

Since 2015, Darrel has held the position of Project Manager at Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI). Their responsibilities include overseeing projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Recently, in 2020, Darrel joined Ulteig as a Senior Project Manager.

Darrel Wallace holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they have pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Additionally, Darrel has also earned a certification in Managing Office Politics from LinkedIn in April 2023.
