Douglas Larson Pe

Douglas Larson, PE, has a strong background in electrical engineering. Douglas is currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Ulteig since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Electrical Consultants, Inc. from 2006 to 2023. During their tenure at Electrical Consultants, Inc., Douglas held various roles including Senior Engineer, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Design Engineer. In these positions, they managed substation projects, adhered to schedules, specified and procured materials, applied protection philosophies, coordinated design tasks, and followed industry standards and common practices. Douglas also worked as a Research Assistant at South Dakota State University from 2005 to 2006, where they designed, built, and tested a power line carrier receiver for an anti-islanding scheme, involving analog filters, line protection, and DSP chip programming.
