Eric Stern has over 20 years of work experience in the energy and technology industries. Eric currently serves as the Director of Technology Innovation at Ulteig, where they lead the establishment of new capabilities and client service offerings driven by emerging technology solutions. Prior to this, Eric co-founded Cultivate Energy Optimization, a firm that provided energy management and engineering services to utilities and governments. Eric also worked as the Director of IoT Partnerships at Whisker Labs, where they optimized connected devices and brought non-connected devices online for efficiency. Additionally, Eric has held various leadership positions at organizations such as CLEAResult, the Colorado Governor's Energy Office, Richmond American Homes, Bevilacqua-Knight, Inc., ICF International, and the Colorado Energy Science Center. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in program management, operations, and strategic planning in the energy sector.

Eric Stern has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, which they obtained from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering at UCLA. In addition to their formal education, Eric Stern has obtained a certification in Disruptive Innovation Course from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in March 2021.
