Nick State, PE has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to present. Nick began their career at Meyer Municipal Aquatic Center, where they held multiple roles including Manager, Assistant Manager, and Head Guard. In 2011, they interned at the State of Iowa Metrology Lab. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Design Engineer at Bolton & Menk, Inc. Later, they joined Ulteig in 2020 as a Design Engineer, specializing in municipal/county projects. Nick partnered with project leads and engineers in design and construction phases, performing design computations, preliminary layouts, and assisting in project plans and specifications. Nick continues to work at Ulteig as an Engineer, contributing to the Civil Department - Municipal group.
Nick State, PE began their education at Ellsworth Community College in 2010 and completed their Associate of Arts degree in Engineering in 2013. Following this, they attended Iowa State University from 2014 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering.
