Randall NotAfraid started their work experience in 2018 as an Electrical Engineering Intern at ARCH Energy, where they gained knowledge in power systems management and service of VFD driven conveyor belts. Randall then worked as an Electrical Engin at Blackmore I, focusing on PCB design review, tool design, and programming of test tools. In 2019, they joined Montana State University-Bozeman as a Storage Specialist. In 2022, they became an Electrical Engineer at The Davis Companies, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Randall is a Graduate Substation Engineer at Ulteig since June 2023.

Randall NotAfraid began their education journey in 2011 at Littel Big Horn College, where they pursued a pre-engineering program and obtained an Associate's degree. Randall then continued their studies at Montana State University-Bozeman from 2015 to 2020. At Montana State University, they focused on electrical engineering as their major and also pursued a minor in computer engineering. Subsequently, in 2023, Randall obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, which include "Learning Bluebeam Revu: Version 2018 to Version 20," "Electrical Systems: Panel Boards, Frequency Drives, and Transformers," "Managing Office Politics," and "Moving DEI from Intention to Impact with Ruchika Tulshyan."
