Ultimate High is the longest established UPRT school in Europe. We were selected by the CAA to represent the UK on the EASA Loss Of Control Rule Making Group and helped to write the requirements for FCL.745.A on-aircraft UPRT andFCL. 915(e) (UPRT FI) which became mandatory in December 2019.

Our expertise is recognised throughout the Industry and we are the only UK ATO to have been invited to present on UPRT at conferences throughout Europe including the EASA Safety Conference in Luxemburg, the International Flight Crew Training Conference at the RAeS, the European Airline Training Symposium in Berlin, the International Symposium on Pilot Startle and Surprise in Soesterberg, Netherlands, and many more.

Professional organisations like Boeing, Rolls-Royce, the AAIB, 2Excel, easyJet and several National Aviation Authorities have selected the Ultimate High Academy as their UPRT provider.

Why do Professional pilots consistently select the Ultimate High UPRT Academy? This is what Tony Rae, Chief Test Pilot at 2Excel Aviation Ltd, had to say about his UPRT.

‘The Ultimate High UPRT course has both excellent content and delivery. It builds from the human brain reaction to startle and surprise and also covers extremely well the regulatory requirement for upset training, and the chain of events that leads to accidents. Case studies are used as examples to discuss breaking the chain. The flying component pace is matched to the individual and reinforces the cockpit component of ‘recognise and recover’, with simple repeatable recovery actions that work across all realistic scenarios. The team at Ultimate High have varied and extensive aviation experience that covers the full range of aviation activity and deliver their course in a passionate, inclusive, clever and humorous way. Overall I found the course very informative and extremely beneficial as well as thoroughly enjoyable - it is the best course that I have attended in 12 years of being a civilian pilot.’
