System Administrator at Ultra Clean Technologies

Jake Walker has a diverse work experience in the field of IT, spanning over several years. Jake started their career as a Windows System Engineer at Hosting.com in 2007. Jake then worked as a PC LAN Specialist II at Kforce Technical Staffing in 2008. Later that year, they joined CompuCom as a Windows System Engineer and Team Lead for NBC/Universal Studios, where they provided remote support for over 7000 Microsoft Windows servers and supported web, application, and database servers.

In 2013, Jake moved on to work at Maricopa County as a Windows System Engineer for the Clerk of the Superior Court. Jake was responsible for managing and maintaining the VMWare environment, as well as the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) platforms. Jake also administered user accounts in Active Directory, Exchange, and OnBase.

From 2014 to 2015, Jake worked as a Windows System Administrator at SMCI on a contract basis at Choice Hotels International. Jake was responsible for patching servers using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and maintaining the SCCM environment. Jake also supported, administered, and maintained Windows servers across multiple domains.

Jake then joined CGI in 2015 as a Senior Windows/Wintel Virtualization Engineer, where they had various responsibilities such as Wintel server vulnerability remediation, administration of Active Directory Group Policy, and management of the SCCM environment.

In 2019, Jake joined JDA TSG as a Microsoft Premier Field Engineer and later took on the role of a Microsoft Customer Engineer. In these roles, they provided expert support and administration for Microsoft products.

Most recently, Jake joined Ultra Clean Technology in 2021 as a System Administrator.

Jake Walker has a diverse education history. Jake began their studies in 1992 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics. Jake completed this program in 2001. In 2003, they attended The Learning Center, where they focused on the field of study related to Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices. Following this, from 2004 to 2007, Jake attended the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Moving forward to 2014, they enrolled in Dynamic WorldWide Training Consultants and Interface Technical Training to gain additional knowledge in specific areas. At Dynamic WorldWide Training Consultants, Jake focused on Administering System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. Meanwhile, at Interface Technical Training, they participated in the VM555 VMWare vSphere 5.5 Ultimate Bootcamp. Despite the lack of degree names for these two programs, Jake acquired valuable expertise in these fields.
