Tom Squires

Tom Squires has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tom is currently working as a Frontend Web Developer at Ultra Commerce since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at March Digital for six years from November 2014 to January 2021, where they served as a Web Developer & Multimedia Producer. Before that, they worked at NuLegal Pty Ltd as a Project Coordinator from June 2014 to November 2014, and at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW as a Project Coordinator from January 2014 to June 2014.

Tom also has experience in web design and marketing. Tom worked at Tuxco as a Web Designer/Marketing Team Assistant from July 2013 to December 2013, where they supported the marketing team, designed websites, produced video/photography and graphics, and correlated market research data. Tom also worked at McDonald Media Group as a Project Manager/Marketing Assistant/Junior Web Developer from August 2012 to January 2013, where their responsibilities included web design, video/photography production, and graphic design.

In addition to their digital roles, Tom has experience in project management and supervision. Tom worked at Best Signs as a Project Manager from February 2013 to July 2013, where they established an inventory database, scheduled signage manufacturing and delivery, and managed installation crews. Tom also worked at Hammer Built Construction as a Supervisor from August 2010 to July 2012, where they organized material deliveries, supervised apprentices, and performed office tasks such as answering phone calls, typing invoices, and sending emails.

Early in their career, Tom gained customer service experience working at Woolworths from May 2009 to August 2010, where they handled cash transactions and assisted with customer inquiries. Tom also worked as a Sales Assistant at ArtForm Kitchens from May 2007 to July 2009, where they sold kitchen packages, assisted in stocktaking, ensured quality control in manufacturing, and organized delivery and installation.

Overall, Tom Squires has a strong background in web development, project coordination, marketing, project management, customer service, and sales.

Tom Squires attended the University of Newcastle from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management degree. Their primary focus of study at the university was in the fields of Management and Marketing. Later, in 2012 and 2013, they attended TAFE NSW to pursue a degree in Web Technologies, further expanding their knowledge in the field of Information Technology.
