The Ultra Tec Faceting Machine was developed the mid 1960’s.  It was a “modern faceting machine” - historically late in development as compared to the others that had come out shortly after WWII -- and so Ultra Tec was able to incorporate advanced and refined features  Originally under the name Stanley Lapidary Company, it was renamed “Ultra Tec” in 1970 and has been under the same continuous management since that time - offering its customers stability and assurance of continuity.

From the time of its introduction, Ultra Tec steadily grew in popularity.  Over the years in which “Faceters Fairs” were springing up, featuring faceting competitions, Ultra Tec users were the predominant award winners.  It has become a popular machine among hobbyists and professional cutters, and is now represented around the World.
