UMAGE is a Danish word meaning ‘making an effort’, and that’s what we aim to do every day. UMAGE is where beautiful Danish design meets affordability, high-quality materials and genuine care for the environment, the planet and the people on it. UMAGE combine aesthetics, simplicity and functionality and infuse it with thoughtful craftsmanship and environmental care. The result is exquisite furniture and lighting designs with a sustainable edge. In 2019, we implemented a four-day work week. With a reduced 30-hour work week, including Fridays off, our aim is simple: More time for living, recharging and unleashing unparalleled productivity and creativity. We firmly believe that a well-rested team is a more inspired and innovative one. We hope to set a standard, paving the way for organisations within and outside our industry to follow suit. Our goal? To cultivate a workforce that is not only happier and more creative but also becomes a catalyst for positive change in the professional landscape.
